The Mission of First Prebyterian Chuch
In gratitude for God?s gifts to us and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to help the people in our community discover the good news of Jesus Christ and to be a people faithful to God. We desire to worship the Lord with warmth and beauty, dignity and joy, and to nourish one another through Bible study, prayer and Christian hospitality. We vow to invite others to join us in service, witnessing and spreading the good news of Christ here and throughout the world.
The Purposes of First Presbyterian Church
Adopted 2006
· To help all people with physical, spiritual, and living needs
· To tell all people about Jesus and what Jesus is doing
· To bring all people into the church family as full participants
· To teach Gods Word and Presbyterian Traditions
· To glorify God in worship and in service.
